The European Culture Forum held last December in Milan (Italy) acted  as the kick-off  to the celebrations for the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage. Throughout the next 12 months, the EYCH will put the spotlight on Europe’s wealth of cultural heritage, showcasing its role in fostering a shared sense of identity and building the future of Europe.

With the commitment of all EU institutions to make this year a success, 2018 will see an unparalleled series of initiatives and events across Europe to get people closer to and more involved with their cultural heritage.

As an European Cultural Route certified by the Council of Europe, the EHTTA strongly supports and is involved in these celebrations, on the belief that the thermal heritage of our towns and territories is a key part of this shared European memory: a complex and fragile heritage we need to safeguard, promote and, above all, celebrate!

Did you know that your local event can be labelled as part of the officcial EYCH Programme? As members of an European Cultural Route of the Council of Europe, EHTTA towns and territories can easily request it trought the European Institute of Cultural Routes, as long as your proposal is consistent with EYCH objectives.
